Use case · Podcasts

Podcast clips, cut from the whole episode.

Drop in a video podcast and say how many clips you want and where they go. Reelfold reads the transcript, picks the answers that stand on their own, and renders each one for every platform you named, with captions, a cover and post copy.

What you get from one episode

Moments that stand alone

The plan lists each clip with its start and end, a title and why it was picked. Change a line before anything renders.

Captions placed per app

Captions sit inside each platform’s safe area, so they aren’t hidden under TikTok’s or Xiaohongshu’s buttons.

Tidy speech, your call

Pauses, filler words and restarts are suggested as cuts. Clear ones are applied; the rest wait for a yes from you.

One folder per platform

Every clip comes out in each format you asked for, with a cover, loudness set and copy within each platform’s limits.

From episode to a week of clips

  1. Describe the batch

“Ten clips from this episode, about a minute each, for Shorts, Reels and Xiaohongshu.”

  2. Approve the plan

Read the picks and the AI cost estimate. Swap a moment, shorten one, or approve all.

  3. Let it run

Cutting, captions, covers and exports run on your Mac, several clips at a time.

  4. Check the flagged few

Automatic checks catch missing caption words, loudness and length. You look only at those.

Questions

Questions, answered plainly.

Does it work with audio-only podcasts?

Reelfold is built for video. For an audio-only show you need a video track first, such as a still image or a recorded camera feed.

How long can the episode be?

Long recordings are the point. The batch on our home page started from a 72-minute recording and produced 24 clips.

Can it handle two speakers?

Yes. Clips can use a vertical, side-by-side or landscape layout, and faces or name labels can be masked if a guest wants that.
